Measurement Evaluation
The NBL Program conducts interlaboratory proficiency testing programs to provide independent validation of facility nuclear material measurement quality/capabilities and to examine ‘real-world’ method performance. Historically, the Laboratory has conducted interlaboratory measurement comparison programs involving more than 50 laboratories from more than 15 countries, providing independent oversight of the effectiveness of measurement systems used for safeguards materials accountability and of the quality of measured values
Due to the reorganization of NBL and establishing the NBL Program Office, the proficiency testing programs are temporarily halted. The Program Office plans to resume these programs as soon as possible. Please address questions or concerns to NBLSales@science.doe.gov and we will respond promptly.
