Middle School Regional Competition
Registration for the 2023 regional competitions will open October 3, 2022, at 12:00 noon Eastern time.

Please note: Registrations are based on the location of your school.
Please be sure to select the regional that is designated for your school’s state, county, city, or district.
A school may only participate in its assigned regional event in order to advance to the National Finals. In other words, a school may request to compete in a different regional event; however, the team will NOT qualify for the National Finals should the team win the competition.
New for 2023: If your school meets any of the following criteria listed here and your school has not
finished in the top three at their designated in-person regional event in the past SIX years (since 2016), then your school is eligible to compete in one of the Virtual Regional Competitions. Preregister your school at https://apps.orau.gov/nsb-coach and select the Virtual Event from the list of regional competitions in your geographic region. Unless otherwise noted, the Virtual Events will be held between February 26, 2023, and March 4, 2023.
