Contract Summary

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is managed and operated by The Regents of the University of California under prime contract number DE-AC02-05CH11231. This is a cost-reimbursement Management & Operating performance-based contract with special performance fee and award term provisions. As of 2018, the Contractor has earned a total of 11 years towards the possible additional 4 years of the current contract term. The contract period of performance is April 19, 2005 – May 31, 2020 and is currently under award term extension. For each earned or forfeited Award Term period(s), the Contract will be modified consistent with Clause F.2, Award Term Incentive (Special), and the period of performance will be adjusted. The Contract’s maximum period of performance, shall not exceed twenty (20) years or 2025. The contract can be viewed at the following website:
