Welcome to the Office of Strategic Planning and Interagency Coordination. The Office of Strategic Planning and Interagency Coordination (SPAIC) is the primary coordinator for interactions between SC and the other major federal organizations that fund basic research, as well as interagency activities. SPAIC also conducts a formal SC strategic planning process preparing a written strategic ten-year plan for SC. We are also responsible for the DOE Laboratories of the Future initiative.
